Chillin With HLN

By Patricia Moorhouse
HLN Today Reporter

Foxwoods, Connecticut; March 7, 1999 - The Noreaster that was threatening to bury the Northeast in snow stayed just north enough to give the area only a dusting. The strong winds and cold temperatures did not deter fans from rockin' with HLN at their debut appearance at Foxwoods. Huey assured the audience that it may be their first, but surely not their last performance there. The audience seemed a little younger and a little more sedate than the audience in Atlantic City. It is the baby boomers of the audience that rocks more with this band's heart of rock and roll.

The sound system was working to perfection and Huey's voice came across clear and strong. Huey's introductions of the guys included the comment that they have been together now for 21 years - the time keeps flying by. The repertoire was the same as in Atlantic City with only an addition on one more encore song, Hope You Love Me Like You Say You Do. Huey, your fans do love you and will continue to rock with you as long as you make the music.
