Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, December 29-31, 2001 - The December 31 show started about 10:45pm with all attendees equipped with party favors provided by the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. The show opened with "We're Not Here For A Long Time, But We're Here For A Good Time" followed by "My Other Woman's Got Another Man." The band also played "Let Her Go and Start Over." Performing three consecutive days was taking its toll on Huey's voice, but he still gave the concert goers all he's got. According to Huey's poll: half have seen his show more than once and the other half saw him for the first time. One person has seen him 51 times. He invited the audience to partake in "Plan B" while he introduced the newest News.

"Heart of Rock and Roll," "Heart and Soul" and "Doing It All For My Baby" were some of the old business Huey wanted to get out of the way.

Throughout the show Huey kept checking to see if the audience was 'still with him' but, the closer it got to midnight, the crowd dwindled.

For the a cappella set, the band sang the always crowd pleasing "60 Minute Man" and "Naturally."

In the later part of the show, the audience heard "If This Is It" and "The Power of Love."

The lure of the Vegas nightlife was no challenge to the true News fan. Those who were not already on their feet, Huey encouraged to get up and dance to "Rhythm Ranch," "(Too) Hip To Be Square," "I Want A New Drug" and "Working For A Living." Eager audience members reminded the band of the impending celebration. Father Time wandered onto the stage to bid farewell to 2001. Two New Year's Babes brought out champaign for Huey and Co. to toast 2002. The band broke out into "Auld Lang Sygn" as the small crowd cheered and made good use of the party favors. The show ended with "Do You Believe In Love?" To borrow a phrase from Huey about the passing of 2001: "Good Riddance!"
