New York, NY & Westbury, NY, 11 & 12 August 2003 - Monday night Huey & the News performed at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The Ballroom only holds 500 people--standing room only--no seats!i

The guys played almost every song from Plan B, which Huey admitted they enjoyed doing their own thing for the night. The was follows:

  1. So Little Kindness
  2. My Other Woman Has Another Man
  3. Thank You #19
  4. When I Write the Book
  5. Plan B
  6. Rhythm Ranch
  7. 60 Minute Man
  8. Pretty Girls
  9. I Ain't Perfect
  10. Jacob's Ladder
  11. Power of Love
  12. Heart & Soul
  13. But It's Alright
  14. We're Not Here For a Long Time
  15. Heart of Rock & Roll
  16. Doing It All For My Baby
  17. Workin' for a Livin
  18. Do You Believe in Love

That was the planned play list. However, Huey & the boys ventured off the list a little and no one was disappointed. The crowd was "with him" all the way through. He kept asking us if we were still with him, and always got a very positive response. Huey was surprised at how many people were there who had never seen him perform before.

At one point in the show Huey took someone's cell phone & was singing to whoever was on the other end of the line!

Huey & the News performed for over 2 hours with some of the guys getting their own solo time too. Johnny was as great as he always is and Stef out did himself again. All in all, it was definitely a Plan B evening.

On Tuesday August 12th, the band performed at Westbury Music Fair on Long Island as they do every summer. Tuesday's show was a complete change from Monday's. This night was like a "Best of Huey Lewis & The News" night. From the very first song, Huey had everybody standing up & clapping.

Again, there were a lot of "first timers" at this show. Every one of the guys got some solo time. Stef truly impressed. Huey did a long solo on his harmonica. The audience loved every second of him. The more he screamed throughout the show, the more the audience went wild with him.

As a surprise, they did an old Thin Lizzy song: "The Boys are Back in Town."

He told the audience that this wasn't their first time at Westbury, and it won't be their last.
