Huey appears on "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno

8 May 2008: Huey made a hilarious cameo appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday; appearing during Jay's opening monologue in a skit with the latest American Idol contestant to be dismissed, Jason Castro. The skit was a well-done spoof on Geico TV commericals who hire "celebs" to help tell their story.

Jay: "Jason's a real American Idol contestant, not a major rock star -- just yet. So to help tell his story, we hired a major rock star..."  Huey enters.

24 April 2008: While The News were touring Japan with Chicago last week, Huey and the guys took time out to visit with their good friends, rock band The Foo Fighters. While The Foos were playing a concert in Osaka, Huey made a fabulous on-stage appearance.

24 April 2008: Together with Chicago-the-band, Huey and The News performed six shows in Japan during the month of April, 2008. It had been ten years since The News had toured this land, and they were welcomed with open arms.

'The Pineapple Express' is Hip to be Square!

1 March 2008: My fangirl heart went nuts last November, when a rumor went around that Seth Rogen wanted Huey Lewis to record music for Pineapple Express. When he popped up in the ever-so-brilliant Kimmel/Affleck "We Are the World" spoof, I began to wonder again. Huey still sounds great, and really, the world needs more of him. Well, I now "Believe in Love" because he is, indeed, the music man for the upcoming comedy's feature song.
